Product Description

Type 4X Pin and Sleeve Devices Interchangeable with traditional all-metallic pin and sleeve devices built to UL 1686-C1. Insulgrip® pin and sleeve plugs and connectors have a metallic shroud to provide ground and protect pins, and a watertight, nonmetallic housing for corrosion resistance and electrical safety. Style I plugs and connectors ground through their metallic shroud, and receptacles are grounded via ground lug in the aluminum back box. Style II devices have a dual-ground safety feature using dedicated ground pin. Receptacle back boxes available; see this page. Gray color. UL Listed, CSA Certified.
