It is a safer alternative to steel and is more rigid and stretches less than polypropylene strapping, allowing it to retain tension over time. Polyester strapping is stronger than polypropylene strapping, but has less overall strength than stainless steel strapping. Apply strapping using manually-operated strapping tools or a strapping machine.
