Fitting can be installed without completely shutting down the system, and it has the Viega Smart Connect® feature plus a durable hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) seal that resists chemicals, heat, and oil. Can be installed with ASTM A53 Schedule 5 to Schedule 40 black iron pipe and is suitable for use in compressed air, and in fuel oil and natural gas applications
