This Oatey® aggressive, purple-tinted primer is ideal for use in cold weather applications. Formula removes grease, grime, surface dirt, and softens the pipe surface to allow a fast, secure solvent weld. Primer is recommended for large diameter and commercial thermoplastic piping systems, specifically CPVC Schedule 40/80. Ideal for use in areas where plumbing code requires verification that a primer has been used. Meets California South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) 1168/316A or BAAQMD Method 40.
