These metal-shelf utility carts have central pillars that support the top shelf at the front and back of the carts rather than the corners. This lets users load and unload items on the carts' bottom shelf more easily than they could on a cart with four corner supports. The carts' top shelf has a flush surface that lets items slide onto or off of it when the carts are being loaded and unloaded. The carts' bottom shelves have a short lip that stops items from falling off them. Heavy items don't have to be lifted very far to clear the shelves' short lip.
