Product Description

Plug-and-play (UL Type A) LED linear light bulbs can be installed in fluorescent lighting fixtures that are powered by ballasts. They avoid the expense of retrofitting lighting fixtures with LED drivers or wiring the bulbs into the building's power supply when switching lighting systems from fluorescent technology to LED technology. Users must verify that the light bulbs are compatible with the ballasts in the fixtures they will be installed in. LED linear bulbs use less energy and need to be changed less often than fluorescent linear bulbs.
