Product Description

Fire Barrier Products Penetration Sealants Material expands when exposed to heat or fire. Can be applied to vertical or overhead surfaces. Easy installation, cleanup, and disposal. Nonhalogen formula requires no mixing. Paintable, sag-resistant sealants remain flexible. 4-hr. Latex STI brand SSS model multiviscosity formula has 2-stage intumescence for extremely fast expansion. STI models are FBC compatible are acoustically tested to reduce noise transmission. 3M brand bonds to concrete, metal, wood, plastic, and cable jacketing. Formula dries tack-free in 10 to 15 min.; paintable after 72 hr. All models are CPVC compatible.
