These CE cut-rated and impact-resistant gloves have a PVC palm that has been reinforced with Duraclad synthetic leather. Duraclad synthetic leather is a lightweight, heavy-duty material that resists stains and abrasion. It has the look and feel of real leather and is more durable than other synthetic leathers. The reinforced palm increases abrasion- and puncture-resistance over standard gloves. Unrated impact-resistant gloves have protection on the knuckle side of the hand to protect hands from injuries caused by incidental impact caused by working in tight spaces or falling items and are not tested to ANSI/ISEA or CE standards. CE cut-rated gloves meet EN 388 standards for cut resistance. Cut levels are indicated with the numbers 1 to 5 or letters A to F with higher values (5 and F) indicating greater cut resistance. Mechanics-style gloves have good dexterity and are often worn when performing basic tasks in general maintenance and repair operations.
