Product Description
PIG® Latching Drum Lid with Fusible Plugs is the only latching lid that meets NFPA 30 venting requirements to help you safely contain and lock flammable materials in a 55-gal. steel drum. In a fire, 2 in. and 3/4 in. FM Approved nylon plugs melt to vent pressure and prevent drum bursting. Ideal for safe storage of flammable or combustible solids such as used rags and absorbents. Latching handle easily opens and closes with one hand. Nitrile gasket and locking mechanism seal lid to help reduce vapor emissions. Easy-access lid closes securely to help you meet hazardous waste regulations. Lockable latch helps prevent unauthorized access. Hinge pin is made for easy lid removal without loosening band around drum.
