These partial-finger mechanics-style gloves have a pigskin leather palm. The pigskin leather palm softens with use, withstands moisture without becoming stiff, and has better breathability than other leathers. Partial-finger gloves (sometimes called framer's gloves or carpenter's gloves) leave the thumb, first finger, and middle finger exposed while having glove coverage on the last two fingers. This leaves the first three fingers bare to provide high dexterity and sense of touch when handling nails, screws, and other small parts, while protecting last two fingers.
