Product Description

Inline portable GFCI cords with automatic reset are electrical devices used between a power source and an electrical device to detect ground faults and help prevent electrical shock. The GFCI automatically resets after a power interruption to immediately restart the connected device as soon as the power supply is restored. These portable cords are suitable for use with unattended devices, such as radios or lights, in settings without a standard GFCI receptacle. They have an outlet plug at one end and one or more receptacles at the other end that devices plug into. They can also be used with extension cords, in which case the GFCI plugs into the wall, the extension cord plugs into the GFCI, and the device plugs into the extension cord.

General purpose portable ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) bodies and cords are electrical devices used with power cords that help protect users from ground faults. They have an integrated circuit breaker that turns off the power when a current overload is detected, helping protect users from electrical burns, shock, or electrocution. They are commonly used in temporary power applications to provide protection where electrical circuits may come in contact with water, such as in garages or outdoors, and a standard GFCI receptacle is not available. Plug-in GFCIs plug directly into a wall outlet and have one or more receptacles that devices plug into. Inline GFCIs are lengths of cord with an outlet plug at one end and one more receptacles at the other end that devices plug into.
