Tube magnets can be brought to where they're needed and then passed over bulk materials to attract and remove ferrous particles from the material. This helps prevent the particles from contaminating the material, getting into machinery downstream and causing damage, and potentially creating a spark that could ignite explosive materials. Tube magnets can be carried between different locations and are a good choice for applications where it is not possible or practical to install more permanent styles of magnetic separators, such as tanks.
