These material-handling hose assemblies have a rubber-blend tube and an abrasion-resistant SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber) cover. They have a static-discharge wire that dissipates static charge on the hose to help prevent sparks that can ignite dry materials inside the hose. The hoses are suitable for transferring dry bulk materials, bottle caps, and cleaning agents and discharging abrasive material. They are used for in-plant transfer, tank-truck, bottling-plant, coal-plant, dry-cement, and well-service applications.

Material-handling hose assemblies come with fittings installed on both ends for connecting the hose to compatible equipment. They attach to a suction-, pneumatic-, or gravity-powered material handling system to move dry, abrasive materials such as cement, fertilizers, fly ash, glass, gravel, and rock salt. The hoses are designed to resist abrasion.
