Corrosion inhibiting VCI powder packs are packets of desiccant that also contain a volatile corrosion inhibitor for preventing rust. When added to a package containing metal parts, motors, or electronic components, they absorb moisture and prevent it from building up on the items and damaging them. Powder packs either adhere to the wall of a shipping container or fit inside a package.
