Variation shipping kits are preassembled boxes with moldable poly liners containing grade 4 vermiculite. Bottles, jars, or cans of hazardous solid or liquid materials are placed inside a bag of vermiculate, which secures the containers inside the box and prevents them from shifting, breaking, or spilling during shipment. The boxes are labeled to identify the type of hazardous material the kit contains, and printed with arrows that help handlers keep the boxes in an upright position during transit.
