Rice Lake 250kg Calibration Weight, Grip Handle Style, Class 6, Traceable - Accredited, Cast Iron

Use the Rice Lake Weighing Systems® cast iron grip handle calibration weight for routine calibration of scales or verification checks. Painted weight has an adjustable sealing cavity. Typical application is field standard for testing industrial weighing devices. Class F weight includes CA documentation (statement of accuracy is a statement of the class of weight). These cast iron weights undergo a phosphatizing process in which the metal is thoroughly cleaned and mildly etched to allow finish adhesion. The weights are then coated with a layer of chip-resistant paint which conforms to NIST Handbook 105-1 standards. This 2-step process ensures a long-lasting finish helps to reduce corrosion.
