Product Description
The YALE® 1100 Series door closer features a medium-size body and spring for effective door control. Rack and pinion closer has a lightweight aluminum alloy body. Features adjustments for closing, sweep, latch, speed, and back check. Closures with retrofit plates allow this door closer to replace 4040 Series door closers without modifying the existing hole pattern in the door. The plates will work with regular and parallel arm applications. Adjust for door sizes 1 to 4 (Grade 1). CloserPlus® arm type for doors with moderate exposure to wind and abuse. Heavy-gauge arm material, arm pivot/elbow with larger bearings, and positive stop help prevent door from opening too far. Parallel arm mount only. Nonhanded hold-open door closer is not permitted on fire doors.
