Designed with precision web and aluminum oxide mineral to offer a uniform finish, this versatile pad can be used by hand, with a hand pad block, or with an in-line sander. For everyday surface preparation, it's an excellent choice for projects that require pre-paint scuffing, finishing, contour finishing, blending, and cleaning. Like steel wool, it provides an aggressive cut and a clean finish without the rusting or splintering. It can be used on a variety of substrates, including fiberglass, aluminum, softwood, stainless steel, and plastic. This pad conforms to irregular surface areas and gets into corners without sacrificing performance. Perforation allows it to be easily split into two convenient 4-1/2" x 6" pads.
