General purpose nylon strip brushes with flexible direct-mount backing each have densely compressed bristles that are securely held in a flexible backing that can be mounted to irregularly shaped surfaces where a rigid-backed brush could not be used. The brushes' nylon bristles provide good resistance to wear and abrasion and are effective when used in wet or intermittently hot environments.
