Brass lock body padlocks resist corrosion, so they can be used both indoors and outdoors to restrict access to property. They have solid bodies, which are more secure than laminated bodies because they don't have exposed rivets that can be tampered with, but they're less resistant to smashing than steel lock body padlocks. They have a standard shackle that is less than 1.5" in vertical shackle clearance and are keyed alike, so all locks in the set open with the same key.
