This acorn nut features 316 stainless steel construction, with a minimum of 2% molybdenum for superior corrosion resistance. The stainless steel helps it resist corrosion and maintain its strength at high tolerances. The inclusion of molybdenum helps to increase its corrosion resistance. It is nonmagnetic and features a Rockwell hardness rating of B80/90.
