Featuring a 1⅞” (48mm) depth and 2½” (64mm) stem opening, this Master Lock® Rotating Gate Valve Lockout surrounds the valve-operating handle to help protect against accidental valve opening. The unique outward/inward rotating design helps offer easier installation in tight areas while the center knockout can be removed to accommodate rising step gate valves. For added safety, the lockout can hold 4 padlocks (sold separately) at one time. To help perform effectively in extreme conditions and be chemically resistant, the body is made of a tough, lightweight dielectric Zenex™ thermoplastic material. The lockout includes highly-visible permanent safety labels in English, Spanish, and French that can be written on to identify the responsible person. For convenient storage, each size nests into the next larger size to help save space. Suitable for locking out 4” (102mm) to 6½” (165mm) diameter valve handles in confined spaces and/or as part of a comprehensive OSHA-compliant lockout/tagout safety program.
