- Tensile strength: 3400 psi Continuous use temp.: 180°F Heat deflection temp.: 212°F Polypropylene has excellent electrical properties and little or no moisture absorption. Carries light loads for a long period in widely varying temperatures. Frequently machined into parts requiring chemical or corrosion resistance such as food packaging, laboratory equipment, automotive components, valves, and fittings. Meet FDA and USDA standards.
