These heat-resistant gloves are made of cut and sewn knit fabric and have a cowhide leather palm. Cowhide is a flexible leather that has some contact heat protection while providing better dexterity than aluminized gloves, aramid blends, and fiberglass blends. Heat-resistant gloves provide better dexterity than mitts and are worn in to protect workers from incidental contact with hot items. Cut and sewn knit gloves are made from multiple pieces of fabric with seams between fingers and sometimes along the back of the hand. They have a roomier fit to allow liners to be worn and to remove the glove quickly when needed.
