This portable, electric air compressor by Makita® features a Big Bore™ cylinder and piston for quicker recovery time and improved performance. Motor has a low amp draw to help reduce the chance of a tripped circuit breaker at start up, while the built-in thermal overload provides additional protection. Durable cast iron cylinder reduces wear and helps increase pump life; removable for easy maintenance. Pump is oil-lubricated to run cooler, reduce wear, and help extend service life. The copper finned discharge tubing helps to increase heat dissipation and reduce moisture in the tank. The air tank has a ball valve drain that’s easier to maintain than the standard petcock design.
