The Westward® solar-powered auto-darkening welding helmet is designed to protect your eyes and face from sparks, spatter, and harmful radiation under normal welding conditions. Auto-Darkening filter automatically changes from a light state to a dark state when an arc is struck, and returns to the light state when welding stops, to protect your eyes from the bright light created by welding arcs and help you see clearly while working. Helmet comes ready for use. Not suitable for laser welding and oxyacetylene welding/cutting processes; will not protect against explosive devices or corrosive liquids.
