Thread-Cutting Screws
- Tapping screws create a zero-clearance, tight fit in hard materials such as plastic, heavy-gauge sheet metal, aluminum, cast-iron, brass, zinc, and lead die castings. Feature machine screw thread pitch, blunt point, tapered entering threads, and multiple cutting edges.
- Meet ANSI/ASME B18.6.4 standard.
- Note: Bulk quantities of some sizes are also available, as are 410 stainless steel 82° flat head phillips drive; search for "flat head thread forming and cutting screws."
