These medium-duty track-wheel plate casters have a molded V-groove on their wheel treads that mates with a compatible angle-iron track to provide precise control over movement and alignment as the casters roll along the track. Medium-duty V-groove track-wheel plate casters are suitable for use on carts, containers, racks, doors, or similar equipment in most industrial or architectural applications.

Track-wheel plate casters have wheels that fit into compatible tracks or rails. They mount to containers, racks, carts, and other equipment to provide precise control over movement and alignment when moving the equipment between two locations, such as from one machine to another, into and out of an oven, or between points on an assembly line. These casters are used in settings that require tightly controlled movement of large, heavy equipment along a specific path, such as foundries, manufacturing plants, and mines. Each caster has a mounting plate that attaches to the equipment, and the casters allow the equipment to roll along a track or rail. The casters come in swivel and rigid versions. Swivel casters can rotate 360°, allowing equipment to change directions while rolling. Rigid casters roll in a straight line. Two rigid plate casters are often paired with two swivel casters so the equipment can both maneuver around curves and obstacles and maintain a straight course.
