Standard-duty industrial mobile and stationary floor fans cool heavy manufacturing areas and other dusty or dirty environments. Compared to light-duty industrial fans, these standard-duty fans are made of heavier-gauge materials, have a higher-horsepower motor, and feature more-robust motor bearings for a longer life.
Industrial mobile and stationary floor fans sit close to the ground to resist tipping over, even when bumped, while providing a powerful stream of air at floor level. These air circulators are often used for spot cooling workstations or production lines and for general cooling in manufacturing plants, warehouses, and shipping operations. Made of heavy-gauge materials suitable for daily use, these axial fans have a powerful motor that drives the fan blades to move large volumes of air and feature high-performance bearings for a long life. A guard encloses the fan blades to help protect them from damage and prevent injuries from accidental contact. Mobile floor fans have wheels, so they can be rolled from one location to another as cooling needs change. Stationary floor fans are used in applications where fans don't need to be frequently relocated, but they are generally light enough to carry between locations.
