Product Description
Low-profile easy-turn threaded stem casters each have two wheels, which reduces the friction between the floor and the wheels (also known as scrubbing) and allows the casters to swivel more easily than single-wheel low-profile threaded stem casters. The casters have small-diameter wide wheels and can be installed on equipment that must be kept low to the ground, such as business machines, vending machines, store fixtures, lab equipment, refrigeration units, dollies, and server cabinets. They have a low center of gravity that helps keep the equipment stable while rolling, and their low-profile design helps make them inconspicuous when installed. These casters have zinc-plated steel frames and double ball swivel bearings that allow the caster to swivel smoothly.
Threaded stem casters are the most commonly used type of stem caster. They have a threaded stem on top that screws into a threaded hole, bracket, insert, or socket on a piece of equipment. The casters allow the equipment to roll, which reduces the effort it takes to move or reposition the equipment. Threaded stem casters are typically used to add casters on equipment where there is not enough room on the equipment's mounting surface to attach a plate caster's mounting plate.
