Product Description
Electronic Ballasts
- Provide energy savings of up to 25% vs. magnetic models. RoHS compliant. Ballast Family Centium® NEMA Premium® instant-start ballasts are suitable for applications that do not have frequent switching cycles. Optanium® NEMA Premium® high-efficiency instant-start and programmed-start models feature lamp striation circuitry. Instant-start models feature lamp auto-restrike circuitry and cold-start capacity to -20°F when operating standard 17, 25, or 32W lamps. IOP instant-start models also feature the UL Type CC rating. (IOPA models do not have UL Type CC rating.) AmbiStar Compact design fits most fixtures and works with most incandescent dimmers. Quiet, flicker-free performance is great for most hospitality applications. Start Type Instant Fixtures with instant-start ballasts tend to come with factory-installed shunted sockets. Great for use when maximum energy savings are desired and when lamps are not switched frequently during normal operations. Lamps are wired in parallel. Rapid Rapid-start ballasts require nonshunted sockets. Great with frequent On/Off switching cycles. Programmed Premium starting method that affords optimal lamp life. Programmed-start ballasts require nonshunted sockets. Great for applications with frequent On/Off cycles. Light Output Ballast Factor (BF) Normal Typically 0.88 or 1.0 BF. High 1.15 to 1.25 BF.
- High-Output Electronic Ballasts
- Programmed-start lamp ignition circuitry makes ballasts suitable for applications where frequent On/Off starting is required, as with occupancy sensors. 20-ft. remote wiring/tandem wiring capability. Auto restart. Operate between 40 and 54 kHz. 5-yr. warranty.
