Extra-high-performance severe-service grease is formulated specifically for heavily loaded equipment in tough conditions with water wash, high sliding, and high temperatures. An extreme-pressure additive helps protect against wear and shock loads, and the formula also enhances rust protection and resistance to high-temperature oxidation. The product offers outstanding structural and chemical stability, is compatible with conventional seal materials, and will not corrode steel or copper-bearing alloys. In heavy-duty trucks, it is good for use with hinge and bucket pins, U-joints, and fifth wheels. Particularly useful to lubricate plain and antifriction bearings under severe operating and weather conditions of construction and mining applications, and in heavily loaded industrial bearings.
