• Tapered pipe thread seal on wedging contact between threads. The more you tighten the tighter the seals.
• Pipe threads are the most common fitting style used in the United States and Canada.
• Not for potable water.
• Imperial pipe fittings are made to NPTF (National Pipe Thread Fuel) specifications.
