Product Description

  • Dipstick/Filer Plug This New Polyurethane Filler Cap Plug Is The Answer To The Problem Of The Old Style Rubber Failing After Time. Rubber Is Not As Compatible With Oils And Fluids As Polyurethane. Polyurethane Will Not Swell And Deteriorate Like Rubber Plugs. In Many Cases You Need Only To Replace The Rubber Plug, Not The Entire Metal Assembly. You Now Have A Choice!
  • Filler Plug Size: 1" Instructions For Removal And Installation Of Filler/Dipstick Inserts.
  • Tighten Nut Enough To Expose Good Threads.
  • Grind Or Use Threading Die To Remove Deformed Threads.
  • Remove Nut.
  • Replace Part.
  • Install Nut.
  • Deform End Of Threads As A Safeguard To Prevent Nut From Vibrating Loose.
  • Note: To Insure Proper Seal Always Wipe Excess Oil, Dirt, Etc., From I.D. Of Filler Tube And O.D. Of Polyurethane Insert.
  • Use A Safety Chain To Prevent Loss Of Assembly.
  • Do Not Over Tighten.
